Tornado Watch Number 71 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 955 PM EDT Sun Apr 14 2019 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of South-central/Southeast New York Northeast Pennsylvania * Effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 955 PM until 500 AM EDT. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Multiple rounds of fast-moving storms will spread northeastward across the region through the overnight. Damaging winds will be the most common hazard, but a tornado or two could occur with line-embedded circulations. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles northwest of Elmira NY to 10 miles north of Monticello NY.
