An anonymous tip system called “Safe2Say Something” began this past Monday, January 14, 2019 for schools across Pennsylvania.

Students and others can now anonymously report tips if they are concerned about talk or social media posts that in any way can pose a danger in school. It might be a warning of a possible school shooting or other threats that would alert school officials. It might even be hearing someone talk about suicide.

Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.

Safe2Say Something has a web site and an app where these tips can be reported.

These tips can help prevent violence such as bullying, a school shooting or even a suicide attempt.
