Exeter Township Police Department welcomed Chief Wendell Morris on Monday. Chief Morris was sworn in by Judge Ben Nevius in front of a packed house of family, friends, and coworkers. He is a retired Major from the Pennsylvania State Police.
Chief Morris will now serve in roles such as the head of the Bureau of Integrity and Professional Standards, and the director of the Equality and Inclusion Office. He has extensive experience in patrol, vice, and narcotics.
He gave a speech about leadership as well as the future of the department.
Chief Morris is also a strong advocate for communicating with the community. He will certainly be an asset to Exeter.
