If you visit Philadelphia any time soon between now and November 3rd, look for the 90 foot, 18th-century “Ghost Ship” docked under the Ben Franklin Bridge.
Just in time for Halloween, this three dimensional light and water-based “Ghost Ship” created by Romanian-based artist, Biangle Studio is part of a free public art exhibition by the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC). It’s part of it’s newest initiative, the Waterfront Arts program.
Visitors to the Ghost Ship can take a self-guided tour. Curated by Ryan Strand Greenberg, the 18th-century ship will showcase Philadelphia’s history as well as the history of the Delaware River.
There is also a River Beer Garden every Wednesday through Sunday.
