It’s that time of year when gardeners start preparing for their summer garden.  Retail stores already have their shelves stocked with soil, seeds, bulbs, fertilizers, planters and pots. It’s an exciting time of the year because we know that soon the days will be longer and warmer. This Sunday is also Daylight Savings time and we turn the clocks ahead one hour.

If you are thinking of starting a garden this spring, now is the time to decide on what seeds you want to plant.  You can start your seeds indoors and transplant them outdoors.

This gives you an idea when to start your seeds indoors if you choose to transplant them.
