For the third year in a row, Let’s Build Construction Camp for Girls is taking place in the Lehigh Valley. The camp will allow 25 young ladies to attend a camp to learn all aspects of the A/E/C (Architectural/Engineering/Construction) industry including the construction trades, architectural design and engineering, and construction materials manufacturing. It’s a free week-long camp that provides hands on building and field trips to local firms.
The girls will be split into five groups. Each group will build a wall section which includes the wood framing, electrical, plumbing, masonry , dry wall, flooring and HVAC. The girls will also take a tour of Smooth-On in Macungie and two architectural firms in Bethlehem. They will also visit the Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School.

Let’s Build Construction Camp for girls will take place July 8-12 2019. Classes start each day at 7:30 am and run until 4:00 pm.
Registration is open and applications are due by May 17, 2019.
