The Lehigh Valley Food Policy Council in partnership with Muhlenberg College and the City of Allentown will distribute Operation BBQ relief meal boxes today from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Muhlenberg College located at 2400 Chew Street in Allentown.

 

 

There is no charge and no personal information is needed in order to participate.

 

Meal boxes will be distributed from a large refrigerated truck in Muhlenberg’s parking lot located at Prosser parking lot- behind Seegers Union. Each passenger in the car is required to wear a mask as they drive through to pick up meals.

 

There will be approximately 1,700 meal boxes.  Boxes will be distributed to first come, first served until meals run out.

 

Each person will receive a pan of fresh cooked frozen restaurant meals for four.

 

Upcoming additional sites will be scheduled around Northampton County in the next few weeks.

*Operation Restaurant Relief is a program launched in March 2020 by the state of Pennsylvania which focuses on helping communities in need during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
