For the fifth year in a row, the West End World of Food Festival will be held this Saturday, September 21st between Liberty and Allen Streets in Allentown, PA. The weather forecast looks beautiful and it’s the perfect day to come out and enjoy a festival in the West End of Allentown!
The festivities will begin at noon and last through the evening ending at 11:00 pm.
The festival features vendors representing food from around the world including some local favorites.
Beer and wine will be available for purchase and there will be live music all day starting with The Smith Compound Band at noon.

In addition, there will be craft and packaged food vendors and activities for children including face painting. There will be handmade items, paintings and homemade goods. It’s also animal friendly – Expect to see lots of pets!

There will be a donut eating contest and chocolate cake eating contest between musical performances. A $100.00 gift certificate awarded to both winners. The contests are limited to 8 individuals age 18 years of age and older.

In addition to The Smith Compound Band which begins at noon, there will be additional musical performances by GirlCrue starting at 2:30 pm followed by M80 at 5:30 and Kevin Miller’s Smashed at 8:30 pm.
