The Slate Belt Regional Police Department is investigating an overnight burglary of the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church located at 300 W. Babbit Ave in Pen Argyl, PA.

Two males broke into the church at approximately 2:10 am on July 1st, 2019. They may have entered through a church window.  The suspects entered several rooms and offices throughout the building.  Police are working on obtaining the type and amount of items stolen from the church.



The two suspicious males can also be viewed in this video (from the Slate Belt Regional Police Department facebook page) fitting the description of the burglary suspects. The video was obtained from St. Peter’s Church, Church Street, Plainfield Township.  No entry was made into St. Peter’s Church.
