Chief Kevin Soberick is the new police chief of the Salisbury Township Police Department.  He was officially sworn in on Thursday evening during the township’s commissioners meeting.  Since June of 1995 he has proudly served the residents of Salisbury Township.

 

 

Chief Soberick is a 1987 graduate of Lehigh County Community College where he holds a degree in Applied Science Electronics and Communications and a 1994 graduate of the City of Reading Police Academy. He served as patrol officer for Salisbury Township from 1995-2002.

 

 

Chief Soberick would like the residents of Salisbury Township to know that our department will strive its very best to protect and serve them and is looking forward to implementing new police programs which focus on community involvement. In the near future our department will also begin working on becoming an accredited police department which is designed to improve the delivery of public safety services while maintaining a body of standards covering a wide range of public safety initiatives.
