The Bethlehem Police Department announced the arrest of two Bethlehem residents for an armed robbery that occurred in the early evening of Sunday, March 29th.
Both 31 year old Justin Hale of East Washington Ave and 32 year old Quentin Wimberly of Itaska Street were arrested. The two men, each armed with a handgun, threatened visitors of a Wyandotte St home and demanded money and jewelry according to police.
The victims were able to provide an accurate description of the suspects and the vehicle they fled in.
Bethlehem Police Patrol Officers located the suspects who were driving in the vehicle a short distance away. Officers detained both of the suspects including the passenger who briefly fled on foot. Both of the handguns were recovered as well as evidence from the robbery.
Hale and Wimberly were both charged with robbery and related charges as well as various firearms violations.
They were arraigned and committed to prison in lieu of bail.
