PennDOT to implement various speed and vehicle restrictions in anticipation of winter storm in most parts of Pennsylvania
Drying out and seasonable weekend... watching Thanksgiving storm...
A drying trend will occur over the weekend as low pressure pulls away on Saturday. Due to its proximity offshore however, breezy conditions are expected with peak gusts 20-30mph throughout the afternoon. Partly to mostly sunny skies are expected otherwise on Saturday, then partly cloudy skies for the 2nd half of the weekend and not quite as breezy.
Partly cloudy skies to begin Monday with slightly above average temperatures, then clouds increase late Monday as another cold front approaches. This likely provides some rain showers Monday night into Tuesday morning. Intervals of clouds and sun follow for Wednesday, with a cooling trend toward the Thanksgiving holiday. The next storm system that will need to be monitored closely for rain or snow (or both) arrives on Thanksgiving Day, and precipitation type will be determined by track, timing, and how much cold air is available with this system. Black Friday could see a leftover snow shower early, then a clearing trend later in the day.
