18-year-old Fleetwood Area High School student killed in early morning motor vehicle accident: GoFundMe

FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Earlier this week a Fleetwood Area High School student tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident.


Fleetwood police say 18-year-old Benjamin Miller lost control of his car and crashed into a tree on Richmond Road in Richmond Township around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

Miller was taken to Reading Hospital where he later passed away.


The Fleetwood Area School District released a statement saying, "During this difficult time, it is important that we come together as a community to support one another. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Ben's family, friends, and all those affected by his loss."



The district is also offering school counselors and additional support services for students and staff members.


Additionally, a GoFundMe has been set up to help alleviate any financial burden that may arise for the family. ie, funeral expenses, medical bills, food, etc.
