Today, the 34th Pennsylvania Farm Show butter sculpture was unveiled!
The American Dairy Association North East and the Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program, in collaboration with the state Department of Agriculture, title this year's sculpture:
"From Moo to Marvel: Dairy Cows Power Pennsylvania".
In representing the 2025 theme of Powering Pennsylvania, the sculpture features a life-sized dairy cow alongside a methane digester - a powerful renewable energy system - set against a Pennsylvania farm and cityscape backdrop.
Artists Jim Victor and Marie Pelton dedicated several weeks to creating the sculpture, utilizing over 1,000 pounds of butter! Both artists are from Montgomery County and the butter was provided by Land O'Lakes in Carlisle, Cumberland County.
Their work will now be on display for the duration of the 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show.
