EAST ROCKHILL TWP., Pa. - A 21-year-old man from Bucks County died as a result of being struck by a falling tree branch, according to the Lehigh County coroner's office.
The coroner says Jesse Owens was removing a tree and was struck by a falling tree branch on Friday, August 2 at approximately 1:06 pm.
The report says Owens died of complications of blunt force trauma to the head and was pronounced dead on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.
His death was ruled accidental.
The incident took place in the 80 Block of Ridge Run Road in East Rockhill Township.
