MAXATAWNY TWP., Pa. - A crash shut down a section of Route 222 in Maxatawny Township late Tuesday afternoon.
According to emergency dispatchers, the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. just north of Kutztown near the Berks/Lehigh county line.
Dispatchers reported significant entrapment involving two tractor-trailers and a sedan.
Route 222 is closed in both directions between Long Lane and Topton Road, dispatchers reported.
The Berks County Coroner's Office was called to the scene.
