Rangers and dive teams from the park service and local fire departments spent hours looking for him.
His body was found in the river at around 7 p.m., just as crews were about to halt the search due to impending storms.
Park Service rangers and dive team members were joined in the search by volunteers from the Milford Fire Department, Milford Ambulance, Port Jervis and Bushkill Dive Teams, and Dingman Township, Sparrowbush and Huguenot Dive rescue reams.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of this young man.
