The 33-year-old woman was taken to the hospital where she underwent emergency surgery and is expected to survive, according to police.
According to the news release, officers spoke with witnesses who said they saw Brian Siegfried, a 41-year-old Williams Township resident, handling a handgun while on the front porch of a home on the 2200 block of Forest Street.
According to borough police, Siegfried cocked the gun, placed it on a table, and then walked across the street.
