LOWER HEIDELBERG TWP., Pa. - Route 422 in Lower Heidelberg Township has been shut down by emergency personnel for an accident investigation.
The closure of Penn Ave (RT 422) between Big Spring Road and Palm Road will be in place for an extended period to facilitate the reconstruction of a motor vehicle accident, according to WFMZ News.
Initial emergency reports indicated an accident involving multiple injuries.
Drivers are advised to take Old West Penn Ave as an alternate route.
