KIDDER TOWNSHIP, Pa - According to Carbon County dispatchers, there has been a confirmed fatal 2-vehicle MVA with injuries on I-476 N/B at mm 89.7.
State Police are on the scene and a coroner has been requested.
A Tri-axle dump truck ran into a vehicle disabled in the construction zone, according to dispatchers at Carbon County Emergencies and Weather.

A detour is in place. Northbound traffic will exit the turnpike at Exit 87 and re-enter at the Pocono Interchange at Exit 95, state police said.
