ALLENTOWN, Pa - Police are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on I-78 in Allentown.
Crews were called to the crash in the EB lanes near Summit Lawn around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Pennsylvania State Police report the crash involved a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle.
511 PA reports the crash happened between Exit 57 to Lehigh St. and Exit 59 to PA 145 - Summit Lawn.
Lehigh County dispatchers report there has been a fatality. WGOLV is waiting on further details and confirmation and will provide updates once they are received.
There is a lane restriction in place. Please use an alternate route.
Traffic is also backed up on Lehigh Street, according to reports sent in.
