Allentown Central Catholic wore orange wristbands in support of #4 from Jersey Shore

Tragically, Max passed away, according to a post on the Jersey Shore Area School District Facebook page. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of Max in addition to the football team, coaches, students, and staff of the school. We are so saddened to hear of his passing.

Allentown Central Catholic wore orange wristbands last evening at their football game against Freedom High School in support of Max Engle of Jersey Shore.


Last Friday night, Max Engle, a Jersey Shore Area Senior High School student-athlete collapsed towards the end of a varsity football game at Selinsgrove High School, according to the school district, and was taken by field by ambulance to the hospital. At this time, his condition has rapidly declined, according to the district and the medical prognosis is not good.
