ALLENTOWN, PA - Allentown Police Chief Charles Roca reminded residents on Wednesday that the police department has the authority to confiscate dirt bikes and ATV vehicles when driven illegally on the roads.

If your vehicle is not street legal, not only could you lose it, but it could cost you.

First-offense violators could face $50-$200 fines, according to the Allentown police chief. Following offenses rise from $100 to $300.

Operations are currently in force to address this problem, according to Chief Roca.

If you see illegal dirt bike activity, please report it to the communication center at 610-437-7751 or call their TIP411 site. Tips are submitted anonymously.
