BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. - Another crash is causing traffic problems on Route 22 in Northampton County this morning.
Route 22 eastbound is currently closed at Route 512 in Hanover Township as of 11:00 am, according to 511pa.com . The closure is a result of a four-vehicle accident that occurred on Route 22 East at Route 191 in Bethlehem Township, as reported by Trooper Nathan Branosky. There are also delays on the westbound side, according to traffic maps.
There were two crashes in that area this morning. The other occurred around 7 a.m. and involved multiple vehicles in both eastbound and westbound lanes, causing the closure of the highway and heavy traffic delays.
Police have not said if anyone was hurt or what may have led to the crash.
