Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band have officially postponed the remainder of their 2023 tour dates.

Bruce Springsteen has been struggling with peptic ulcer disease, according to an announcement on social media. In August, they postponed their concert dates in Philadelphia due to The Boss having health issues.

“Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support,” Springsteen, 74, said in a statement posted on social media Wednesday. “I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year.”

“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows,” was posted on The Boss’ Instagram.

“First, apologies to our fabulous Philly fans who we missed a few weeks ago. We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support,” he continued. “We’ve been having a blast at our US shows and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon. Love and God bless all, Bruce.”

Tickets for postponed performances will remain valid, while makeup dates will be announced.

Refunds are available for anyone who can’t make their rescheduled concerts if they submit requests within 30 days of the 2024 shows being announced.

His team posted the following on Instagram, Springsteen has “continued to recover steadily from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks and will continue treatment through the rest of the year on doctor’s advice,”

The note added that the decision was made “out of an abundance of caution.”

This is a developing story.
