Child seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Monroe County

TUNKHANNOCK TWP., Pa. - A child was seriously hurt after being hit by a vehicle in Monroe County Monday.

According to dispatchers, a young boy was struck by a vehicle around 6:30 pm along Kirtley Court and Mathews Drive (Sierra View) in Tunkhannock Township.

Dispatchers say the child was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
