PHILADELPHIA, Pa - In an announcement today, The Philadelphia Eagles say they agreed to terms on a trade with the Washington Commanders for former Penn State and Nazareth High School player Jahan Dotson.
The wide receiver was drafted in the first round by Washington in the 2022 NFL Draft after an outstanding career with the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Dotson caught 84 passes and scored 11 touchdowns in his two seasons with the Commanders.
In exchange for Dotson and a 2025 fifth-round pick, the Eagles will send a 2025 third-round pick along with two seventh-round selections to Washington.

About Jahan Dotson:
Dotson was born on March 22, 2000, in Newark New Jersey, and attended Nazareth Area High School in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
He left for Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey for his junior year and then returned to Nazareth High School for his senior year in 2017.
He set school records at Nazareth for most receptions, most receiving yards, and most touchdowns, according to Wikipedia.
Dotson originally committed to play college football at UCLA, but later rescinded his UCLA commitment to play for Penn State.
