Coroner identifies 24-year-old passenger killed in crash on Stefko Boulevard Sunday

According to the Northampton County Coroner’s Office, a 24-year-old woman from Brooklyn, New York died in a single-vehicle motor vehilce accident in Bethlehem on Sunday.


The accident took place at the intersection of Stefko Boulevard and Bayard Street at about 6:30 pm, according to the coroner's office.


The woman is identified as Leanna Farraj.



Farraj was a passenger in the car that crashed into two utility poles.


Bystanders had removed Farraj and began providing first aid, but tragically, she died at the scene.


According to the Northampton County coroner, she died of multiple blunt force injuries, and the manner of death is ruled an accident.


The driver was extricated and transported to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.


Speed is believed to have been a contributing factor in this accident, according to the police.
