UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. - Update - A 21-year-old man was taken to the hospital after his car went off the Route 309 overpass and onto the eastbound lanes of Interstate 78 below, according to state police Trooper Nathan Branosky.
Branosky said the driver, who was traveling alone, was taken to a local hospital.
It is not known what his condition is at this time.

A crash on I-78 left a vehicle on its side and heavily damaged in Lehigh County Thursday night.
The crash happened on I-78 eastbound near the Route 309 South-Quakertown exit (MM 60.9) around 8:19 p.m., according to emergency dispatchers.

It's not clear how many vehicles were involved, but a car could be seen damaged and lying on its side near the median, with debris seen on both sides of the median.
Emergency dispatchers say the vehicle rolled over and is on its side with one person inside and unconscious.
Multiple police vehicles and ambulances responded to the crash.
There is a lane restriction in place.
There is no word yet on what led up to the crash.
