LEHIGH TWP., Pa - In less than 12 hours, two fires broke out in Lehigh Township.
The first fire started late Monday night just before midnight in the 3600 Block of Lehigh Drive.
Crews today responded to a second alarm fire right down the street from the first fire in the 4100 Block of Lehigh Drive, according to Northampton County dispatchers. This fire broke out at approximately 10:03 am this morning.
Both fires were unrelated, according to Lehigh Township Fire Commissioner Richard Hildebrand..
Firefighters knocked down the fire in about 30 minutes, according to WFMZ News.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt, and the pets inside made it out safely, according to the report.
A family of four - two adults and two children were displaced from that home.
WFMZ says that the Red Cross is helping the family.
