Crews respond to house fire in North Whitehall Township, animals still missing

NORTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa - Update - Everyone made it out safely from the fire Saturday night, according to the owner, but some of the animals are still missing, she said.


One of the household members was also taken to the hospital in the morning for unrelated reasons, according to a WFMZ news report.



Crews responded to a fire earlier tonight in North Whitehall Township this evening.


The fire was located at 4741 Route 309, according to emergency dispatchers.

The fire was reported to be the dryer and the fire was seen out the rear of the dwelling, according to reports.

Roadways in the area were shut down as a result of the fire.



The North Whitehall Township Fire Marshal is continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
