SLATINGTON, Pa - Crews responded to a second-alarm working dwelling fire in the Borough of Slatington early this morning.
It was originally called in by a passerby, according to dispatchers.
Dispatchers reported the fire at approximately 1:45 am.

The fire was located in the 200 Block of Center Street and a Fire Marshal was requested.
According to an update from WMFZ News, no injuries were reported.
Slatington Police posted a notification to social media about issues with water pressure within the borough:
Community Notification: We are aware of issues with the water pressure within the Borough. Due to a large fire on Center St, a water main on Walnut sustained a break in the line. Public works is aware and working to rectify the issue. We appreciate your patience and support while we work to clear these incidents. 061824@0830
