A huge tree crashed down onto a Cumberland County home early Monday morning due to high winds, killing a man inside.
The tree demolished a corner of the brick, ranch-style home on the 800 block of Baltimore Pike in South Middleton Township at around 3 am, according to WGAL.
Emergency services received the call about the tree at around 3:10 a.m. according to Cumberland County Dispatch.

The Cumberland County coroner identified the man as Scott Quickel, age 45.
Quickel called to check on his parents just before the tree fell, according to the news report.
First responders said Sandra and Sanford Quickel were able to get out of the house, but their son was found trapped in his room.
Pennsylvania State Police and the Coroner are investigating the incident.
