COPLAY, Pa - A family needs your help following a fire in Coplay Wednesday evening.
The fire broke out shortly before 8 pm in the 800 block of Catherine Drive and caused significant damage.
According to WFMZ News, the fire started in the back of a twin home and quickly spread.
Neighbors say flames traveled across outside decks, to burn both homes, with a third home suffering heat damage, according to the news report.
WFMZ says the homeowners got out safely, but a dog and cat did not.
10 fire departments responded, and crews got the fire under control in less than an hour.
Coplay Fire Department says two firefighters were treated at the scene and released. One had a nosebleed, and the other was treated for high blood pressure.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, according to WFMZ.
The fire department has created a list of items needed for the family, as stated in a Facebook post.

Pet supplies: cat litter for two cats, Friskies wet food, Purina One dry food. One dog, Purina One dry dog food.
Clothing:
Two Adult Males, Two Adult Females and One baby female clothing.
One adult Male- XL clothing
One adult Make- Medium clothing
2 Adult Females- M/L clothing
One female baby- 6-9 months
Diaper size 3
Toiletry Items and diapers
The fire department says if anyone has clothing they can donate or don’t use, please consider helping this family out.
The fire department is working on obtaining sizes for the adults but anything can help at this point, according to the Facebook post.
