Father and two sons killed by Amtrak train Thursday

Updated: 2 hours ago

WGOLV.COM - Authorities have confirmed that three individuals who died after being struck by an Amtrak train Thursday night were a father and his two sons.

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office identified the family members as three men: 56-year-old Christopher Cramp, 31-year-old David Cramp, and 24-year-old Thomas Cramp.

The coroner determined that the cause of death for all three men was multiple blunt impact injuries.

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office reported that they responded to the Bristol Train Station on Thursday, April 3, following the deaths of three individuals hit by an Amtrak train.

Bristol Borough Police Chief Joe Moors told Fox News Digital officers were called to an area near the rail line at about 6 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports of people on the tracks.

According to Moors, as an officer approached the family members around 6:10 p.m., the train struck and killed them.

Moors had earlier informed Fox News Digital that it seemed the three men heard the train but were unable to leave the tracks in time.

They were all hit at the same time, according to Moors.
