Fire crews respond to fire at Whitehall business Saturday morning

WGOLV.COM - WHITEHALL TWP, Pa. - Fire crews were dispatched to the American Fence Company in Whitehall Saturday morning after a report of a structure fire.


The call came in just after 9:15 am, according to Lehigh County Communications.


The fire was located in the 2700 block of Eberhart Road in Whitehall.

When Whitehall Township and neighboring fire crews arrived, fire and smoke were showing from storage containers on the scene, according to WFMZ.


According to officials, building materials housed in the area were also damaged.


There are no reports of injuries, according to Channel 69 News.


The cause of the fire is under investigation.
