Flood Watch in effect for late tonight and Wednesday due to potential for heavy rain

A flood watch is in effect for much of the area late tonight and Wednesday due to potential heavy rain from showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. In addition, a marginal risk of severe weather exists late tonight & Wednesday due to the risk of damaging winds and possibly an isolated tornado.
