Flood Watch in effect for the Lehigh Valley through late tonight, heavy rain, thunderstorms possible

According to the National Weather Service, a flood watch is currently in place for Lehigh County, Northampton County, as well as some areas in northern Delaware and Pennsylvania.


Heavy rain and thunderstorms associated with an approaching cold front will produce widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts of 4 inches or more possible, according to the National Weather Service.


Be alert for possible flood warnings.
