The fourth and final supermoon of 2023 will rise tonight and into Friday.
If you miss this one, you will have to wait until September 2024 to see the next one!
This Supermoon is referred to as a Corn Moon or Harvest Moon since it falls near Sept. 23rd which was the autumnal equinox this year.
According to NASA, this supermoon will be approximately 224,854 miles from Earth and will appear about 5% bigger and 13% brighter than the average full moon in 2023.
How to watch the supermoon
The supermoon will be visible without any special equipment, but for a closer look, you can use binoculars or telescopes. NASA recommends using binoculars with a minimum magnification of seven along with a tripod to stabilize the image at a magnification of 10 or 15.

La Luna de la Cosecha aparecerá en el cielo nocturno
La cuarta y última superluna de 2023 saldrá esta noche y hasta el viernes.
Si te la pierdes, tendrás que esperar hasta septiembre de 2024 para ver la siguiente.
Esta superluna se conoce como Luna de Maíz o Luna de la Cosecha, ya que cae cerca del 23 de septiembre, que fue el equinoccio de otoño de este año.
Según la NASA, esta superluna estará aproximadamente a 224.854 millas de la Tierra y parecerá un 5% más grande y un 13% más brillante que la luna llena media de 2023.
Cómo ver la superluna
La superluna será visible sin ningún equipo especial, pero para verla más de cerca se pueden utilizar prismáticos o telescopios. La NASA recomienda utilizar prismáticos con un aumento mínimo de siete junto con un trípode para estabilizar la imagen a un aumento de 10 o 15.
