Justin Konnick, head coach of the Boyertown High School football team resigned Wednesday evening.
The move ended Konnick’s two-year tenure guiding the Bears. Boyertown went 8-13 in that span, 3-7 in the Pioneer Athletic Conference Liberty Division.
Boyertown athletic director, Nick Palladino sent out a letter to football players and parents on Thursday regarding Konnick’s resignation.

“BASD administration will work closely with remaining members of the current staff to ensure a smooth handover process and to address any outstanding matters,” Palladino stated in the letter.
Boyertown also posted the opening for a head coach on their website.
