According to the National Weather Service, the heat and humidity will continue to build through the first half of this week.

High temperatures range from 90-100 degrees with maximum heat indices of 100-110 degrees
With this heat and high humidity, there will be a chance for afternoon and evening thunderstorms through Wednesday.
Locally damaging winds, heavy downpours, and frequent lightning are possible.
