How to Pull Off the Ultimate McDonald's Burger Heist and Score Free McDonald's for a Year

If you're a McD's lover, you'll enjoy hearing about this.

McDonald's is pulling off the "ultimate burger-stealing heist."

The fast-food franchise announced the challenge for burger lovers.

Here's what you need to know:

The Hamburglar has hit the road to get his hand on "America's Most Wanted Burger", and McDonald's fans have to stop him.

Unfortunately, the McD's character has upped his theft game with a never-before-seen getaway car known as the Burgercuda. This is a custom 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and those who spot the vehicle will be able to claim their prize.

Fans who spot the getaway car, nicknamed the "Burgercuda," and scan the vehicle's code can get rewarded with an Arch Card gift card, plus Hamburglar-inspired swag, available for a limited time, while supplies last.

The idea of the heist is to get a taste of McDonald's newly updated burgers before the Hamburglar does.

"McDonald's built a legacy on serving delicious burgers, but anytime we have an opportunity to make the best even better, we take it," said Tariq Hassan, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at McDonalds.

Here's what to know about the Burgercuda:

Both its interior and exterior are styled with Hamburglar's iconic black-and-white strips with red detailing throughout the car, and his logo is portrayed on the headrests.

It features bun-like hubcaps, a spare tire disguised as a giant cheeseburger, and a hidden burger warmer "to ensure his stash stays perfectly hot, juicy, and tasty."

There will also be the Hamburglar's signature catchphrase "robble, robble" appearing on the hood scoop. The license plate shows "RBL RBL."

Happy chasing!
