Learn to swim lessons for kids begin this week at Irving Pool in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa - Swim lessons begin this week at Irving Pool in Allentown for kids ages 4-15.


The course is great for beginner swimmers with little or no experience in the water.


The goal is to provide participants with a variety of water-based drills for important safety and survival skills and to increase comfort and endurance in the water.



Skills covered may include:


Survival swimming skills (kicking, floating, treading, survival strokes)


Treading water


Using a life jacket


What to do in a water emergency


Basic water rescues


Sessions are $50 for residents and $100 for non-residents.


Irving Pool is located at 731 North Irving Street in Allentown.
