Many in the Lehigh Valley enjoyed the beautiful Northern Lights Thursday evening.
A fast CME erupted from the Sun the evening of October 8 and was likely to arrive at Earth on October 10, according to the NOAA. The CME had a potential to reach G4 levels upon arrival and throughout the CME passage.
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, said skies would be clear to view the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights.
