BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A 40-year-old Upper Milford Township man has died as a result of a crash Monday evening on Route 378 in Bethlehem.
Ricardo Lee was pronounced dead on Monday, January 29 at 11:01 pm in the Emergency Department at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg after his motor vehicle struck a tractor-trailer at approximately 10:13 pm in the area of SR 378 NB approx 1/4 Mile South of Route 22 East in Bethlehem.
The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries due to a motor vehicle collision. The manner of death is an accident, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Route 378 was closed while police investigated and crews cleaned up debris and vehicle fluids.
In addition to the coroner's office, the City of Bethlehem Police Department is also investigating.
