OREFIELD, PA
Matt and Lauren, the owners of Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre in Orefield, PA have a newly adopted kitten and her name is Funnel Cake!
According to the owners, a kitten had been living in the bushes at the Drive-in.
One evening as the movies were being shown, they heard sounds coming from inside the bushes. They searched and searched with flashlights through the bushes for the "meowing" sound.
Along with the help of Mark (their ticket-taker), they were able to rescue the kitten and quickly put her in a "funnel cake box" they grabbed from the snack bar.
For the remainder of the evening, the kitten hung out with Matt and Lauren in the projector room.
Before taking her home, their snack bar manager gave them some spare cat supplies to take along for Funnel Cake.
She did well overnight and is now eating solid food, playing, and nappy as all kittens do.
