YORK COUNTY, Pa. — On Tuesday, a three-year-old boy went missing in York County.
Emergency crews were able to work fast and rescue the boy.
According to a Facebook post by Search 93- South Central Pa. Search and Rescue, a search detail was sent to the area of Sunlight Drive and Spring Valley County Park at 12:06 p.m.
The missing three-year-old had wandered from his home along with his dog, according to reports.
Multiple emergency crews responded to search for the child.
Initially, a search began in the area of the child's home where preliminary information was received that a resident thought he heard a tiny voice yelling in a wooded area approximately half a mile away.
Chief 45, County Ranger 17-1, and the Southern Regional Police Department responded to the area where an officer with the department was able to locate the frightened and uninjured child near Trail #1 in Spring Valley County Park.
According to to the Facebook post, an ATV 45 transported the child to Jacobus Lions Ambulance Club 18 for a medical assessment and the child was then reunited with his family.
