The moon will "snuggle up" to Venus in the pre-dawn sky Tuesday morning, according to Space.com.
The two celestial bodies will share the same right ascension — which astronomers call a conjunction, the site reports.
This special event will likely unfold around 3 a.m. for those in our area of the Lehigh Valley. The waning crescent moon will be up at 2:44 a.m. while Venus rises around 3:11 a.m. The conjunction should be visible around that time, according to the website.
