Multiple people injured after small plane crashes into unoccupied plane in Bucks County

BUCKINGHAM TWP., Pa. - Multiple people were injured after a moving plane crashed into an unoccupied plane in Bucks County Monday.


According to the Buckingham Township Police Department, first responders were dispatched to Doylestown Airport at approximately 12:21 pm for the report of a single-engine plane crash off the runway.


Police say, upon arrival all occupants of the aircraft were out of the plane.



The occupants on board sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals for evaluation, according to the news release.


Preliminary findings indicate that the plane was taking off, left the runway, and hit an unoccupied plane before coming to rest.


James O’Malley, a Bucks County spokesperson told WFMZ preliminary information indicates three people were in the aircraft and two were taken to hospitals.


Buckingham officials remain on the scene awaiting the arrival of the FAA.
