Jake E. Lee, former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne was shot multiple times Tuesday while walking his dog in Las Vegas.
Police responded to a street shooting at approximately 2:45 a.m. where 67-year-old Lee was discovered with gunshot wounds. He was quickly rushed to a hospital and placed in the intensive care unit.
Lee is expected to fully recover, according to his management.
Jake E Lee and Red Dragon Cartel perform at Club Webster Hall in New York City.
The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made, according to police.
Lee’s management said the musician was walking his dog when he was shot and the attack appeared to be “completely random.”
Lee played with Ozzy Osbourne in the 1980s, joining the metal singer after the death of Randy Rhodes. He wrote several songs on the albums “Bark at the Moon” and “The Ultimate Sin” before leaving the band.
He was also in the group Badlands with former Black Sabbath members Ray Gillen and Eric Singer and later the band Red Dragon Cartel. He also released two solo albums.
In a statement shared with TMZ, Osbourne expressed his sympathy for his one-time guitarist.
“It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today,” the Black Sabbath frontman said. “It’s just another senseless act of gun violence.
“I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade,” Osbourne added. “I just hope he’ll be ok.”

WHY ADVERTISE WITH WGOLV:
What's gonig on in the Lehigh Valley specializes in small business and event promotion for nearly 14 years. We are very creative with what we do and how we do it. There's a lot more to promotion than just posting a flyer. We believe in educating the public on your business, product, service etc. The better-informed people are, the more likely they are to make a decision to use that service, business, product etc. That's why we especially like doing a live broadcast (which can also be downloaded and used in articles, reels etc, and for you to keep) and in-person interviews. That way, we can "show " the Lehigh Valley your business. I call the complete package of what we do - articles, flyers, pinned posts, live broadcasts, and in-person interviews a "Business Showcase." We also suggest being in our exclusive Business Directory and we can offer discounts and specials for Followers and Subscribers - Display and Banner Advertising is available as well. That way people continue to see your business name over and over.
